    Mission Statement

    The California Farm Water Coalition Board of Directors has identified three primary goals as part of its mission to increase public awareness of agriculture’s use of water and provide a common, unifying voice for agricultural water users.

    To serve as the voice for agricultural water users.

    To represent irrigated agriculture in the media.

    To educate the public about the benefits of irrigated agriculture.

    Our Cause

    The California Farm Water Coalition was formed in 1989 in the midst of a six-year drought to increase public awareness of agriculture’s efficient use of water and promote the industry’s environmental sensitivity regarding water.

    CFWC is a statewide organization that represents a cross-section of California’s agricultural industry.

    With members from Redding to the Imperial Valley, CFWC addresses farm water issues at the local, regional and statewide levels.
